Diane Foster, certified Master Coach by the International Coaching Federation, and career development specialist has provided coaching and consultation on leadership and change for over fifteen years. A leader of several organizations herself, she has enjoyed achieving real success with her clients – hundreds of individuals and teams in all kinds of organizations. She has received many advanced degrees and training, including: a Masters in Career Development from JFKU; graduate work at UC Berkeley’s School of Education, the San Francisco Jung Institute, Tavistock Group Relations conferences, the Coaches Training Institute, and Corporate Coach University’s Coaching Clinic. Having supported Advanced Micro Devices in building career development and intact team training while they were downsizing, she has also coached and consulted to leaders in the restructuring of divisions at EPRI, and California State Auto Association. Current or recent clients, besides individuals, include the U.S. Dept. of Labor, Tularik Bio-tech, Genentech, Kitchell Corporation, Wells Fargo Bank, United Behavioral Health, California Maritime Academy, and the City of Oakland. She is a faculty member for John F. Kennedy University’s Coaching Certificate program and is Director of ICF Competency Development for the College of Executive Coaching. Diane’s accomplishments include: supporting individual clients in building their capacity to achieve their goals in top leadership roles and in building high performing work places; supporting teams and organizations to implement “coaching cultures,” and achieve significant improvements in customer/stakeholder satisfaction, employee productivity and morale, and improved business processes. With special expertise in leadership, she has designed and implemented corporate-wide programs for Fortune 50 companies to integrate performance management, succession planning, and career management.
