He listens well, reflects quickly, and explores with the client the possibilities available whether it is strength to be developed, a polarity to be managed, a problem to be solved, a gap to be bridged, or a goal to be achieved. In the midst of such serious work, he also invites those whom he coaches to enjoy life in the fullest possible way.

Ron’s passion, expressed in his doctoral dissertation, is that of emotional intelligence. Through training and coaching he assists individuals to assess and grow their emotional intelligence competency, to integrate it into their leadership and management styles, and to apply the fundamentals of emotional intelligence to the culture of any organization in which they need to lead and manage.

In addition to working in nonprofit organizations for 26 years, Ron has served clients in business, education and government. His favorite pastimes are in-line skating, country-western dancing, and traveling.
